Shirley,

My son has a pellet stove. He used it for four or five years. the
price of pellets has gone up in this area so he did not use it at all
last year. When he was in the hospital and I was staying there I used
it. the problem I had was lifting the forty pound bags of pellets.
It is cheaper to buy a ton all in bags but again you need a dry place
to store it. They do burn clean and there is little ash to take out.
How much is your electric per kw.? Ours runs about 14 cents. Paula
