For those of you who have expressed an interest in the subject of
deeds and property, a Mail List for the users of the software
DeedMapper has been set up at Rootsweb. This list is for those who
would like to know more about analyzing old grants, deeds, surveys,
and claims, particularly those described by metes and bounds. The
software DeedMapper is being used by local historians, genealogists,
and archaeologists to make land ownership maps of days gone by.

Subscribe to the list and you'll participate in the DeedMapper user
community. If you have questions on using the product, or tricks you'd
like to share with others, this is the place to be. Hosted by users,
