Hi Diana,

Well, it's a rather long story but I'll try to keep it short. First of all,
I'm not even sure we're looking for the same Chuck Hooper but I hope so. The
Chuck Hooper I'm looking for goes by the nickname "Shorty" and is the grandson
of Jess Hooper from Oklahoma. I know he has a sister, Candy, but I had no
idea where she lives. Jess was married to my mother, Helen, whom he met while
they were both living in Seattle, WA back in 1956. They then moved back and
forth between there and Oklahoma numerous times and both died in Okla. City in
the 1990s. I inherited some Hooper photos and have been holding onto them in
case I should ever find Chuck. I put a query on the HOOPER Rootsweb mail list a
while back in hopes that he would see it and contact me. I think I had seen
a query from him in the older archives and tried to e-mail him but it came
back undeliverable. I believe I thought it was the right Hooper because his
e-mail address was TropicKid and I'd heard he may have moved to Hawaii. I heard
that from Jess Hooper's neighbors after he died.

So, that's my story. Are you related to Chuck? If he is the right one and
would like these photos I'd be glad to send them. Or if you're related and
want them I can send them to you. It's been a long time since I've looked at
them and don't even remember how many there are. Waiting to here from you.
