Hi Dori,

I records show a John W. Hooper, son of Obediah Hooper, b. ca. 1760 in
Lunenburg, VA. He married Mary (Polly) Word. b. ca. 1777, d. Aft. 1836

The only children I show are: Joiny D. Hooper, b. 1796 d. 1847 and Joshua
Word Hooper, b. 1798 d. 1877. My information came from the Flora Hooper
Collier book......not sure which volume.

Joshua Word Hooper maried Jane Roberts...
I know they had one son,Robert Bouland Hooper. RBH had a son Zach William
Hooper. ZWH had a son, John Brinson Hooper. Robert Bouland Hooper came to
Shelby County, Texas before the Republic days. Some descendants are still
in Shelby County, Texas.

If this is the John Hooper you are reseraching I'll be happy to put you in
touch with a researcher from this family who can perhaps give you more
information.
