Hello Ruth,

If you are refering to the Parish of BITTON, Gloucestershire, UK. located about 7 miles from Bristol and Bath then there are records of my HOPES family since circa 1670. Also clusters in Redfield, Parish of St Georges, Bristol. Family members moved here for work in the 19th cent.

What references do you have ?.
