My Hope's came from Ireland to South Carolina, to Tennessee, to Mississippi via Arkansas, to Louisiana, to Texas. Far back as I've got confirmed is Hugh Smith Hope, b. 11/3/1803 SC. I believe that James Hope and Isabella Smith were parents, just haven't confirmed it yet.
