Hi,

My great great grandparents were from Germany, settled in Boston (after
several years in New York) and were members of Holy Trinity Church.

Martin BURKARD (or BURKHARD) was born in Germany or Prussia @ 1818. He
came to the U.S. on the S. S. Albany and arrived in New York on April 9,
1840. He married Ann DORR in New York (I believe) sometime @ 1849. Ann
DORR was born June 12, 1820 and also came from Germany/Prussia. Martin
and Anna came to Boston @1855. They lived on Camden Street almost the
entire time they lived in Boston. Martin was a tailor. Martin BURKARD
died in Boston in April 21, 1885. Mary (DORR) BURKARD died in Boston on
July 24, 1903. Martin and Anna had five children.

Mary BURKARD was born in New York City @1849. She married Henry C.
SELINGER in Boston on Jan. 21, 1873. Henry was born in Boston and he was
a bookkeeper. I have no additional information about them.

Philomena BURKARD was born in New York City @1852. She married Freolin
HEIL in Boston on May 4, 1882. I have no additional information about
them.

Anna BURKARD was born in Boston on Oct. 16, 1863. She married ??? SCHELL
in Boston . I have no additional information about them.

George BURKARD was born in New York City @1854. He became a member of
the Society of Jesus. In 1901 Rev. George Burkard was apparently living
in Buffalo, New York. In 1903 he may have been living in Loyal,
Wisconsin.

Joseph BURKARD was born in Boston on Nov. 7, 1860. He is my great
grandfather. He married Mary BARRETT on Oct. 18, 1885. Mary BARRETT was
born in Massachusetts on Oct. 23, 1864. Joseph and Mary had four
children, George (B: July 1888) (my grandfather), Anna (B: Oct. 1892),
Raymond John (B: May 1895) and Albert (B: Feb. 1897). All were born in
Boston.

I have many additional details on the BURKARDs beginning @ 1900.
However, I have few details before that. I am especially interested in
finding the birthplaces of Martin and Anna (DORR) BURKARD. Any and all
information on any of the individuals listed above will be greatly
appreciated.
