Looking for ancestors and/or descendants of Fortunatus Hubbard, born December 13, 1824 in New York. Married Charlotte, born about 1832 in Conneticutt, died after 1920 in Oregon. Probably had a brother shown as F. B. on the 1860 Census for Sterling T/S, Whiteside County, IL. Fortunatus and Charlotte had at least the following children: Emoline, b. abt 1851 NY; Hattie?, b. abt 1854 NY; Olive, b. abt. 1856 IL; Fortunatus (Fort), b. May 27, 1866 IL; Otis, b. abt 1867 IL and Alexis, b. June 1870 IL. Most of the male children ended up in Oregon. Don't know about the female children.
