supposedly the father of HENRY FRANCISCO left France after the Revocation,
when Henry, who was supposedly born 1686, was a little boy. The father had
already fled once to Holland, where he married; this time he fled to Holland
again, then England, then to New Jersey.

a JOHN FRANSOY (Francois?), also known as JOHN FRANCIS, appeared in the
Newark NJ area married to one Geesje or Geeshee or Keeshee. the hypothesis
is that this is Henry's father. John's sons went by various names (including
FRANSER, FRANCISCO, FRANCISCUS, VAN CISCO, VAN SISCO, SISCO(E), CISCO(E),
and just about every other variant the human mind could come up with
(FRANSISKO, FRANSISCO, SISCHO, SISKO--this is the family name from hell).

there is no indication when Henry's father left Holland for England; could
have been after the depression of 1688. nor is there any indication when the
family left England for the US. if you believe that John is Henry's father,
it had to be before 1691. if you don't, Henry told people he fought with the
British in the battle of Blenheim, so i picked 1713 as the year of the peace
of Utrecht.

Henry's father, if it is the same guy from NJ, could be listed as Jean
Francois, John Francis, Jan Franser, Jan Franciscus, John Francisco...or
some other variant that hasn't yet invaded my worst nightmare.

it's a needle in a haystack, but anything you find that might be connected
is better than what i have now on this family's sojourn in England, which is
nothing ;). thank you so much!
