Hello Listers,
I am seeking a connection for "van der KEUR" to the Huguenots. Rumor
has it the "van der KEURs" of the Leiden area in South Holland, fled
France to the Netherlands in the 18th century. It is said that the
family name was originally "de la COEUR".
The "van der KEUR" family has been traced back to ARIJ van der KEUR,
born circa 1685/1690?, died Mar 1724, married TANNEKE PIETERS de GROET
(1679-1746) on 31 Aug 1710 at Pieterskerk in Leiden, South Holland.
Would any one know of this connection or where I might look to find a
connection?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Sue de Groot
