Thanks Lars, for the lookup. I am searching for the surname of
NIERWEIN/NERWEIN from that area during that period. Also surname of
Bisch(e).

Subject: [HWE] Churchbooks from the Palatinate
I can offer "look-up" services from the following Churchbooks:
1) Taufbuches der franz. ref. Gemeinde von Mannheim 1651-1689 and
2) Ehebuches der franz. ref. Gemeinde von Mannheim 1652-1689 ... (After
1689 the huguenots are gone).
(and from the "Frisenheimer Bürgerbuch: Die Einwohner von Friesenheim,
1584-1814.
and of course Dr. Béringuier's: "Die Stammbäume der Mitglieder der
Französischen Colonie in Berlin", Berlin 1887.)
but back to the Church Books from the Palatinate (Pfalz): are there anybody
who have access to other churchbooks from the Palatinate in this period ??
I would be nice if we could make a list of who's got what ... and would
like to participate in this "look-up" service ... I don't know if there has
been any prior attemt to make such a combined looking-up service for
Palatinate Church books in the 17th Century ... but here's mine.
Please answer to the list and not to my private mail ....
Sincerely Yours,
Lars Deleuran
Librarian
and I am, as ever, eager to find traces of my poor forefather, Miche De
Lorens who died of the plague in Mannheim in 1667.
