Hello Andrea and all,

Please remember that many of us (myself included) have been told NOT to
post to the group because we have not succeeded in making our connection
back from USA to Europe. In my case, I have a man (James Jacques
Verrier) who emigrated to the port of Burlington, NJ, around 1690. I
have been told that of the many, many ships that came into this port,
only two brief ship manifests survive. So I will probably never be able
to find my ancestor's previous home. This doesn't keep me from being
interested in the list so I lurk.
