| Would you be kind enough to look up the name TEVELEIN/ TEVELIN/ THEVELIN
in
| the French Protestant Hospital records.. The family came from Pas de
Calais
| at the end of the 17th Century, via Cadzand, and lived in Canterbury.
There is a Research file in the library TEELIN/THEULLIN.
In the hospital records there are several mentions of TEVELIN(JEVLIN)
including an Isaac who was admitted to the hospital on 30 Aug 1746 and died
17 Jan 1764 aged 79. He also lived at Canterbury and could be the son of
the Isaac you mention although if he were Jacob would not be the first.
This one is interesting and relates to a Jeanne L'EVESQUE admitted 31 Jan
1767 the widow of Pierre from Xaintonge, aged 68 years the daughter of Isaac
and Elizabeth TEVELIN from Bamargue near Calais in Basse Picardie. She died
26 May 1768.
There are other references to LEVESQUE which may be connected Jeanne's
husband which I can extract if of interest.
Hope this helps and sorry about the delay in coming back to you.
Roy
