Subject: [HWE] Fw: {MBP: not a subscriber} Huguenots in Germany
Date: Sun, 9 Dec 2001 13:58:31 -0800
Hello --
Here is a Message Board Post {MBP} from Les who is not a subscriber to
HWE. He is interested in the surname GRIMMELL in Germany.
This MBP illustrates very nicely how putting your info on a Message
Board may bring replies from others. Les, for example, is replying to a
previous MBP from Thomas, also not a subscriber, who is interested in the
similar-looking name CRIMMEL, also in Germany. That message was posted to
the Board on 4 Dec and forwarded to the list on 5 Dec.
If you have any info to give to either Thomas or Les, please do so by
going to the Board where you can post a reply (which will then be forwarded
to this list). You can get to the Board by clicking on this Message Board

copying/pasting it to your internet browser). Andrea

Saxony to Brooklyn, New York during 1872. They were Lutheran. The oral
family secret was that the GRIMMELs were originally French. However, I don't
know the location in France.
