Hi Everybody,
I am currently researching my mother's family name which is RAIMAN. The
tradition within the family is that they were originally Huguenots but no
one has any idea when the family came to England or wherabouts in France
they came from.
I have traced the family tree back to 1787 in Deptford / Greenwich but can
get no further. There was a French church / chapel in Greenwich but I have
been unable to locate any records.
Does anybody on the list have any suggestions as to where I may go next?
Do you think RAIMAN is Huguenot?
Regards
Tim Arguile
