I am sorry for sending you my message to your personal email. I have
only joined the list this week, and am only just learning the protocol.

The family came from Poitiers in the Poitou region, and at some point in
the late 1600s believed to have gone to Paris before journeying to
Canterbury.

I have a copy of the Huguenot Register at home from Canterbury, but
cannot clearly link Samuel further back although the name is mentioned
in the registers. He was listed as coming from Horsemon pres de Chateau
en Beausse or Dorsemeau dans l'Isle de France, one of my cousins tells
me this was in PARIS.
I shall recheck the register at home to see if there is a Marthe listed.
