Hello to all,

I want to remind subscribers that the monthly genealogy magazine
Australian Family Tree Connections has a Huguenot Surnames Index which is
online. Anyone can have access to this list or submit surnames to it, free
of charge.
The only stipulation for submissions is that the surnames must be known
or proven to be Huguenot in origin. All new entries are published in the
magazine each month and are then added to the web site which is at:
http://www.aftc.com.au/Huguenot_Index/huguenot_index.html.
It's a good idea to keep checking this site because new names are being
added all the time.

Also, don't forget to check our own HWE Surnames List on our website
at http://www.island.net/~andreav/hwenames.htm. Any subscriber can
submit names to it, regardless of whether Huguenot/Walloon connections
have been proven or not.

And lastly, for those of you with U.S. connections, The National
Huguenot Society -- a U.S.-based organization -- has a List of Qualified
Huguenot Ancestors on their web site. To view the List of Qualified Huguenot
Ancestors, go to: http://www.huguenot.netnation.com/ancestor/default.htm.
Further info (eg. acceptance criteria) can be obtained from the Society.

All the above info continues to be available/accessible on our website
