Marc Duchesne in the late 1600s lived, with wife Anne nee Renaus, at La Bouille near Rouen, Normandy. Marc had a business in the nearby town of Elbeuf. His son, Robert was baptised in the Catholic church at La Bouille on 18 October 1700 and later attended a Huguenot church in Rouen. Robert and his wife Marie nee Noel emigrated to London in 1730. Any information regarding this Duchesne family in La Bouille, Elbeuf or Rouen would be most gratefully received. Mick in Melbourne.
