The ' Jan De Hague' name - is a Dutch connection possible? (The
administrative centre of The Netherlands beeing 'Den Haag'/'S'Gravenhaag' -
in English 'The Hague') I don't live too far from there, so if you know what
you would like me to look for & where I might find it, I could do a look-up
for you (my Dutch permitting! ;-) ) I know the Dutch did have links with
Norfolk a few centuries ago (16/1700s?) - hence windmills, re-claimed sea
land, some colloquial phrases sonding a bit 'foreign', etc in Norfolk.

I would be grateful to know how you traced your family back to the Hugenots &
earlier.

I have (although I am not 100% certain yet that they are my family) a
Guliemus Vigerstaff marrying an Annae Poyott in England in 1695. Family
heresay is that at one point a German man married a French woman.

Brgds,
Sarah
