Hello Fellow Listers,

Here I am back from the 'Grand Adventure' to France.

Nothing to offer regarding things Huguenot for the
list, although I did manage to unearth some trivia
concerning one of our Huguenot ancestors. It seems that
this one was disinherited by the Catholic side of our
tribe and so now at least we know what happened to the
estates of one of our family members.

While there I did manage a sojourn across to the little
island off the coast of Normandy. Which has raised an
interesting question and maybe someone on the list can
offer their thoughts ?

Jean Leroy followed the Huguenot faith, even though he
was born in Hampshire. His wife Anne Rohan-Piton was
apparently Protestant (something that is being heavily
researched at present).

The question for the HWE list is : If Anne was not a
Church of England follower, what other possible
Protestant religious faith could she have followed?

Bearing in mind that her family did approve of her
marriage to a Huguenot.

Kind Regards,
Peter Leroy
