Thanks SO much for your information and comments below.

You have certainly opened a HUGE door for me and my VUATIEN (aka VAUTIN)
rellies who have always wondered why our ancestor Claude V signed himself
Glaude! After some preliminary research, I have already tentatively
'assigned' this family to the strong possibility of him being a
Walloon/Dutch church in Norwich and it seems that I may in fact be on the
right track...

I shall check out that website you have nominated and discover more...

Thanks again Howard. I am sure that this helps other researchers too. There
is a vast amount of collective knowledge in this HWE group and we are all
fortunate to be able to tap into it when appropriate.
