Subject: [HWE] Bolster surname

We are looking for anybody with the surname of Bolster in the 1600's up to
1715. My ancestor is Isaac Bolster and we know he was in England in 1685 as
he was in Lord Fitzhardings Horse Troop during the Monmouth Rebellion. The
area of this was Monmouthshire England and the largest battle was in Somerset
England. We have searched all over Devon and Somerset and they have no birth
records or Isaac Bolster. The name can also be spelled as Balster, Bowlster,
Bulster or even de Bulster. We are wondering if he came to England from the
Netherlands or Belgium since we have found the name in those places from the
IGI source on Family Search by the LDS.
Thanks for any little bit of information you have.
