My Huguenot connection would seem to date back to one Jacques Sodo who came
to London, England from Cambrai in France. The only other place in Europe
which seems to have a concentration of this surname is in Lombardy in Italy.
In addition, there do seem to be Sodos in Poland.

Is it possible that there were Huguenot families who originated in Italy and
could they have also gone to Poland? Of course, I do realize that the Polish
surname Sodo may have nothing at all to do with the Italian/French surname.
