Hi Garth

Norwich: No HESSEL but:

Franss HESSELA is recorded as being one of those of the Reformed Religion
who signed the Accord with the Magistrate at Ypres, 20 September 1566.

HESSELE appears in the general history once and then:

George HESSELE, a fuller, Flanders, 1568, wife and 1 son, in the return of
the members of the Walloon Church at Norwich. It appears, though it's not
clear, that he may have returned to Ypres when the Walloons left Norwich.

Southampton has no HESSEL but 21 references to members of the
HESSELIN/HESSELAIN family.

Regards

Tony Fuller
