On this site you find a list of French marriages which took place in Leiden,
the Netherlands.
The city of Leiden had a "Eglise Wallone".
Leiden has marriages on line, but at this moment only the Roman-Catholic
ones and the ones before the maior, which is only a small part.
A lot of Huguenots went to Leiden before moving on, because Leiden at that
time was famous for their textile industry. A lot of the villages they came
from in the districts Nord-Pas de Calais also had a large textile industry.
