Hi Tony and everyone!
James Phillips and Jane Dusolei married 28 Feb 1824 at St Anne, Soho. They settled in Chelsea, or at least are there 1846, 1851 and 1861. Jane sisters also married that same year.
Ann Dusolei married John Barnett 4 Aug 1824 at St Anne. And Elizabeth Dusolei married William Hailes 17 April 1824 at St Anne.
Their parents were Thomas Dusolei and Sarah Giles, who married in St Marylebone, 11 October 1795.
They also had Thomas Dusolei (bap 24 April 1796) at Mortlake, Surrey and John Dusolei (bap 7 January 1798). Also Mary Dusolei (bap 24 April 1796). All baptised at Mortlake.
Jane was baptised - Jane Dusolie, 28 January 1802, St Anne, Soho.
Elizabeth was baptised - elizabeth Dusolie, 26 March 1800, St Anne Soho
Ann was baptised - Ann Dusolie, 23 November 1803 St Anne Soho.
Cannot find christening/birth of Thomas Dusolei (their father). Possible siblings are:
George Dusolie, born 29 Jan 1770, bap 22 Feb 1770, St Anne, Soho
John Dusolei, born 7 Jul 1765, bapt 21 Jul 1765, St Anne Soho
Peter Dusolei (no baptism, but there are children by a Peter and Elizabeth around 1800 in same area Thomas and Sarah married in 1795)
(parents are John and Mary Dusolei)
Possible original surname:
Jean Du Soleil, born 9 October 1752, bap 29 October 1752. Savoye De Spring Gardens and De Grecs French Huguwest, Westminster (area in which Soho is)
Parents : Jean and Marie Du Soleil
Sarah Dusolei, nee Giles, died in 1838 in Brighton, Sussex, a widow and with no family relatives present at death.
Thomas Dusolei was a cooper by trade and appears on Ancestry in some directory for 1785.
This is all the info I have on them. Any way I can go about proving they were huguenots? These are all from the IGI as I have not been able to travel to London.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chloe
Why do you think that the family may have been Huguenot, other than the
surname? Do you have any other information that may help?
If you could post a little more information, for example, where they lived
when they married we may be able to help you.
Regards
Tony Fuller
