Hello, everyone --

We've had quite a few replies posted lately on the
HWE Board. These are messages replying to
Board posts which I've forwarded to the list in the
last month.
Rather than forward all these replies to the list, I've
decided to let you know about them in this one post
and, if you're interested, you can go to the Board to
read them there.

Here's a listing with details (see below). In all
cases, click on the URL provided which will get you
to the original query on the Board. Then scroll down
below that query to see the subject line(s) of any replies.

line: Huguenots Societies in Provence, FRA.
Regarding this one, I had asked that replies be
sent to the list (rather than the Board) since the author
of the query had recently joined HWE. However, replies
were sent to the Board only.

If you want to reply to any of the above posts on the
Board, please do so *on the Board* by clicking on Post
Reply.
The exception to this would be the last post I
mentioned above re: Huguenot Societies in Provence.
Since that query was written by a new subscriber to
this list, replies should be sent to the list (*not* the
Board). I want to avoid the awkward and
unnecessary situation of having list subscribers
talking to each other via the Board. Better to use the
more direct method -- ie. the list -- for exchanges
between list subscribers.
