Meantime... the quandry of how does a Catholic church become a Huguenot place of records and then become a Jewish place of worship ? Is there a connection between them all in this case ?
I have often wondered just how a supposedly good Catholic family, which most of our Huguenot ancestors were prior to the Reformation, ended up with commonly used names prevalent in Judaism, such as Esther, Abraham, Jacob etc. ?
I am sure that Zwingli, Luther et al would have frowned upon such a thing ?
