AUGUSTIN H. BERNARD

Augustin H. Bernard, 68, also known as Harry Bernard, died yesterday
afternoon at St. John's hospital after a short illness. Mr. Bernard was
employed as a machinist at the Kute Kiddie Shoe Co. for the past eight
years and was well known. He was born in Manchester, N.H., and came to
this city at an early age.

He was the son of the late Charles and Hedwidge (Gauvin) Bernard. He
leaves his wife, Delima (Lebourdais) Bernard; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent
Kulickowski and Mrs. Vincent Donoghue, both of Lowell; five grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Unit Shoe Workers
Union of America.
