Greetings
I have several families in the South West of England whom I believe to
be of Huguenot/Walloon origin. The lack of Huguenot records in this
part of the world make it all but impossible to prove any connections.
I had not realised that Nicholas was also a possible Huguenot family.
My Nicholas ancestors are around Penryn and Falmouth in Cornwall which
would make sense as a port of entry. It would also explain why I have
not found any early C16 records.
Thank you for this enlightenment.
