Mon arrière arrière arrière arrière grand père, Edouard Finel, a été trouvé dans Shrewsbury, le Massachusetts en 1748. J'ai des documents qui montrent qu'il a eu un fils, Edouard Finel, né le 27 Octobre, 1748 dans Shrewsbury. Sa mère y est inscrite comme Sarah Green. Il n'y a aucune information de la date ou du lieu de naissance de mon arrière arrière arrière arrière grand père. Il n'y a aussi aucun lieu ou date du décès. Il y a une possibilité que cet homme fut un soldat français, Huguenot (?) et qu'il a peut-être été tué durant un conflit à ce moment-là au début de l'histoire américaine. Il n'y a pas d'information du mariage d'Edouard et de Sarah. Quelle région de la France le nom de famille de FINEL serait-il susceptible d'être trouvé ? Y a-t-il en outre un site Web pour les soldats français envoyés en Amérique ?

My fourth great grand father, Edward Finel, has been found in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts in 1748. I have documents that show he had a son, Edward Finel, born Oct. 27, 1748 in Shrewsbury. His mother is listed as Sarah Green. There aren't any records of the Birth place, date or place of the fourth grand father. There isn't any death place or date. There is a possibility that this man was a French Soldier, Huguenot (?) He may have been killed in a conflict at that time of early American history. There isn't any marriage records of the union of Edward and Sarah. What region of France would the surname of FINEL be likely to be found? Also is there a web site for French records of the soldiers sent to America?
