Hi Nicola

OK, lets see what we can do to help here .........

Your dates are rather odd for Huguenots in Ireland. Whilst the date is
sound for the first tranche of French or Walloon refugees émigrés to the UK
and Ireland, there were very few in Ireland prior to the early 1600s - 1630s
effectively. And then there was the huge settlement of Ireland by Cromwell
in the mid 17th century, which pre-dated the invasion and wars of William
III.

Now the Pas de Calais is an interesting Huguenot centre because it was a
route between France, the Low Countries and England with people running
backwards and forwards in the Calais, Guisnes, Cadzand and Dover routes,
lots of families moved between those places with regular monotony. And many
became members of the first Dutch and French Churches in London as well as
the various Walloon Churches that early on in the Diaspora.

There is very little information on the Jenning/Jennings families, just 62
hits in a variety of sources, almost none in the Irish Huguenot records and
then only in passing really. Nothing for Genings except as parts of other
names, nothing Irish tho a couple of nice early Walloon references in
Canterbury records.

Hope this helps

Regards
