Subject: information needed on Countess of Hakik-Barkoczy

Hello everyone! This is my first message to you.

I am desperately searching for any information on a Countess of
Hadik-Barkoczy van Futak uns Szala C. 1875 for whom my great
grandmother Matilda Yankovich Silhavy worked as a lady in waiting
before her marriage to Leopold Silhavy, a forester on the estate in
1880. I am working through my local FHC, but am coming to a dead end
on this countess. I am not even sure what town the estate was in as I
have been unable to get a marriage certificate at this point (I'm new
to this). I have been told that this was a Hungarian countess, that
there were quite a few members of the family and that they were listed
in the Genealogische Handbuch des Adels of 1979, which I have been
unable to locate. Any help will be most appreciated!

Researching SILHAVY, YANKOVICH, MOROLICH, GREGA , GIRGASH
Would like to hear from anyone also researching these names.
