Subject: Records on Territories no longer part of Hungary

I just recieved a letter from a gentleman that has visited the
Archives in Budapest in the last several years. He was looking
for information of former lands of Hungary now in the Ukraine.
He was told the Archives in Budapest don't keep any records for
former Hungarian lands.
I am not sure how accurate the information he was told was but
I could be so.
