Is anyone researching the names PIHALE, PIHALY, PIHALI in Hungary or the
surrounding area? My primary location is Kreis Krummau, Boehmen
(Bohemia) in what is now the Czech Republic (Boehmerwald).

These families possibly came from Hungary into the Sudetenland and were
later expelled in 1946 into Deutschland and Oesterreich. Others emigrated
from the Boehmerwald to America in the late 1800's (1860-1890), primarily
to Minnesota (although some went to Ontario, Canada).
