Hi Vivian,
I recently wrote a new found relative(with a German surname) in Hungary
using the German language. There was a form letter in the book "German
Genealogical Research" by George R. Schweitzer. I am sure there are
other form letters available in other places. It also helped that I had
discovered that a friend of mine could read and write German. When the
letter arrived in Hungary, it turned out that the grandfather could
still remember some of his German. He got it a little mixed up with his
Hungarian, but it was readable. ---and now we are writng back and
forth--it is fantastic!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if one of the professionals on the list could
give us a simple form letter in Hungarian?
