Listed on my grandfathers natralization paperwork as the place of birth is
Erdovik, Hungary. He was born in 1887. I can't find that city on any
current map. Does anyone know if it is still called that or was it changed
post WW1? Is it now in another country?
Once I have the city, is there any place I can go to get birth info. The
last name is Zirger, family word-of-mouth indicates this was not original
spelling, may have started with CS instead of Z. Any info would be helpful,
we are just starting our search.
