I wonder if there is anyone in Hungary who is near Vegardo, the little
villiage North of Sarospatak up in the North-East corner of Hungary.

I've researched the Greek Catholic Church records for Vegardo from 1779
to 1885 and found back to my fourth great grandfather. I've found wives
and families and children and their families. Now I would LOVE to find a
living relative in or around Vegardo - or anywhere, for that matter -
with whom I could correspond.

Names:
Mihaly Varga and Anna Kelecsa (she is RC)
their children include my grandfather as the only living child - Mihaly
Varga - but after Mihaly died Anna remarried Jozsef Safranjos and had
four children, two of whom died.
The two living are Janos and Jozsef, born 1886 and 1889.

Mihaly Varga and Maria Besdy
I've found Besdy's but not back to 1817 when Maria was probably born.
They may have moved to Vegardo in the 1820's - but where did they come
from?
Janos married Maria Matisz
Mihaly married Anna Kelecsa
Maria married Michael Stefan
Anna married Andreas Bodnar
Ersaber married Pal Balogh

Andreas Varga and Maria Kiss
Andreas died as infant
Joannes died at 20
Georgins married Barbara Novak
Mihaly married Maria Besdy
Andreas married Elisabetha Levi
Stephanus married Maria Dzsu
Maria married Mihaly Novak
Josephas died at 4
Anna ???
Elisabetha died at 6
Barbara married Mihaly Vinczler

Andreas Varga (born 1749?) and ????
the film only starts at 1779 - can't research Andreas
Maria Varga ????
Andreas Varga married Maria Kiss

Oh, I would love to find a living relative to correspond to. Also, does
anyone have an idea of where I can look now for info before 1779? And
how about after 1885?
