Hello Listers,

I have received notification of this post from a couple of different people
now, and since I am new to all of this, thought it would be better for me to
check on the Rootsweb Lists policies before responding. Although I do agree
it certainly sounds like a worthy project, it has always been the policy to
disallow any soliciting for funds whatsoever on the Lists. Obviously, it
makes sense, if one is allowed, then we would have to allow more and that is
not the purpose of the LIsts. Might I suggest that Judie, the person
seeking members to join, post a website address and/or e-mail address with
the notation that inquiries are welcome, leaving out the request for money.
Privately, she can ask for whatever contributions or dues she would like,
and no one here becomes offended.

Regards to all,
Suzannej
