Cheryl, I would say that it is Abauj.
Your best bet would be to go to the LDS site and check the catalog for
Abauj-Torna and see the towns that start with D.
I see a Debrod in the western part of Abuaj on the 1810 map that can be
accessed from the Hungary Genweb site.
Appollonia was used as a name in Hungary; I've run across it in nobility
records. Johannes would be Janos. You may have what happened to me. My first
piece of information was a German Lutheran document with German renderings
of my Hungarian names. It really confused me for a while. Good luck, Kevin
