Kummel liqueur
1/2 liter pure alcohol
2 dkg kummel - caraway seed (komenymag)
a little anise
40 dkg sugar
2 liter water

In frypan gently fry caraway seeds, pulverize it. Add it to the alcohol
with the anise together and let it soak for 10 days.

After ten days, pour (separete) off the alcohol from the caraway seeds.

Boil water and add the sugar to dissolve. When it cooled down add the
alcohol. Pour it into bottles and leave it standing for another few days.

Liquor stores in Ontario sell pure alcohol. I don't know the availability
where you are.
