Good morning Steve and Cheryl,
Welcome to the List Cheryl :-) I just took a look at the cd as well, and I
agree with you Steve, there's not much that comes close to Castula. The
only thing that I see which might even remotely be suggestive of Castula is
a place now in Romania called Gostila. Not knowing where the placename came
from, ie. ellisisland.org passenger manifests, etc., is it possible that
upon closer inspection of the writing, this might be the place? If you
think so, more information is available.
