Good Morning Suzanne,
I showed my mother the Ellis Island manifest listing Julianna Bilak. She thought part of the writing looked like her mother's writing but then some did not. She was troubled by some of the discrepancies.
Again I thank you for all your help. This is very meaningful to my mother. She has Parkinson's Plus. Her whole body is freezing on her. She is in constant pain, we keep increasing the morphine but nothing helps. It is only a matter of time as to when she passes away. The doctors didn't expect her to live through last summer. Although she knows nothing of her past - her parents never talked about their past- my searching for information seems to give her some pleasure. Her mind seems to be going now, so I really am groping at straws in the dark. I give her daily updates as to how WE are doing. Your name has become a familiar word in her home. Even the care workers are enjoying the search.
