Hello great listers!

The transcribed record from Ellis says they were from the town of
Legyesbenge, Hungary, and I deciphered where Roza was born as Spegimalur
(see, I told you I need help!).

Marge, Legyesbénye is the correct spelling also know as Benye (Legyes).
Located in old Hungary in County of Zemplen and district of Szerences.
Found this on the following website http://www.hungarianvillagefinder.com
and you will find it on this map
http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910/zemplen.jpg just scroll down to the
bottom left hand corner near the center of that district. You can also find
on todays road atlas on this website http://lazarus.elte.hu/moterkep/mb.htm
. As to Spegimalur I can not help you there. Did not see that on the
manifest and there is no town that I can find that is close to that
spelling.
