Thanks to the great help from the wonderful folks on this list, i have found
that EBERGO listed on my Ggrandfather's Ellis Island records as his place of
residence is in fact EBERGOC(Z), Hungary in Sopron County, District
Kapuvar......thanks so much!!......NOW.....how would i go about finding LDS
church files or films of this area??....know that this ancestor was Roman
Catholic......are there LDS Catholic Church records for this area and would i
check the Sopron Church records, which there seems to be a bunch??....was
Erbergocz called something else before??..anyone know if other folk from this
area of Hungary were headed to the Johnstown, Pa. area??.......any leads
appreciated....thanks....Joe
