Using Jewishgen's ShtetlSeeker I first tried
Nemes-Lubella and came up with nothing useful.
However I noticed in the list of localities for Lipto
county given by the LDS catalog a tendency to drop the
Nemes part of the name.

Putting in Lubella, I came up with two really good
possibilities:
LUBELA 4903 1929 N Slovakia 124.7 miles ENE of
Bratislava
LUBELLA
(LYUBELYA) 5012 2357 V Ukraine 289.9 miles W of Kiev

Could either of these be your town?

I had no luck with either Upic or Csehorszag. It
seems that neither of them are current names of the
town.
