Hi Cauti,
again Dennis gave you a good rundown on the suffixes!:-) I might add
female 'sibling' also distinguishes into older (no"vér) or younger
(húg). Sibling simply means testvér and just like in English one can not
tell the gender from it.
Many man carry the nickname 'Öcsi' to the grave with them because
they were somebody's younger brother!:-)
