Margaret, there are also extensive church records for Iglo/Spisska Nova Ves
in the LDS microfilms--Roman Catholic, Evangelical, and Jewish.

Hi all,



I am new to the list and just getting started trying to track down my
Hungarian gg-grandmother. I was told she was born in Eaglo, Hungary. But I
can't seem to find any record of such a place. Could someone advice me as
to what it might be? The closest I can find in a Google search is Eger,
Hungary. Of course, she was born about 1861, so the place she was born may
no longer be IN Hungary! Help please.
