Hello to the List,
C01 through C03 represents the best of what is contained in "History of Hunt & Cloud Families of Scott County, MS, which is 929.2 H941h in the MS State Archives building, Jackson, MS. I will send these three E-mails out right after this one..
I assume that some/part of what is in the document may conflict with what others may have.. For that reason, if you disagree with the contents, or part of the contents, you need to do further research.. In fact, if you are so inclined, read these reports as "for information only" and then go out and do your own research for each and every portion (i.e.; names, dates, places, remarks, etc)..
Someone else, equally sure they had the right data, put together these different books which are now used for research purposes by many.. They thought they were just as correct as someone else.. So I respect their work.. My wish is to only pass it on to others so that they might be aware of the work and can use it is whatever way they wish..
Bottom Line -- User Beware !!! But if you feel as comfortable with these documents as you would a document in any other location, then I am happy that I passed it on to you.
