You didn't say exactly what you were looking for, but here is some info I found in the Census records.

The Kehoe family, with the 3 Hurter children, is listed in the 1880 Census for Liberty MO.

The Hurter family, with Emily, dau. Elizabeth, and a husband John, are found in the 1860 census for Sauk Co WI.

Info re ages and birthplaces tie the 2 together. John Hurter born in Switzerland abt 1829, Emily in Canada abt 1833.

With John Hurter born in Switzerland, it is not likely there is a connection with the HURT line from England
